“If you are looking for God where will you find him?

We can aspire to look in heaven, but when we attain this place we will never come back to tell others whether he was there.

We can look around us and in our hearts, is that where God is? Is he with us, around us?

Perhaps our path is to help others who are less fortunate than ourselves and utter the Lords names; then maybe we will find the truth and taste peace on earth.”

My name is Rajendra Pratapray Dayashanker Ramji Joshi. Friends refer to me as Rajubhai Joshi. I was brought up in this country by two wonderful parents and my family. The name Darshan is of personal significance. Based in Hinckley, Leicester I have been practising as a Hindu Priest for the last 10 years.

I qualified with an economics degree and then joined the Police Service. I attained the rank of Sergeant and specialised in police training, and hate crime/ethics. I have published academic articles on the subject of ethnicity and policing.

Whilst serving as a Sergeant I studied further for a PGCE and MA (Ed). Please find a link to my linked in public profile here. If you connect with me on LinkedIn you can view some of the recommendations and endorsements I have received there.

Hinduism has many attributes for the World and it is such a pity that the world does not reflect these positives. All faiths offer similar good things. I have been taught by my father, mother and fellow Lay Preacher Rajubhai Mehta.

I specialise in wedding ceremonies and indeed it is a gift to be able to place two people together in a dharmic manner. Prospective couples in this day and age must consider what the Vedic Hindu wedding means to them.

And I hope this modest website allows them an introduction to better apply our faith. Please do read through the rest of the pages and I hope you are able to find some good information here. God bless.
