Personally I favour the many principles that Hinduism has to offer, and I do not decry other faiths at all. I have three special beliefs that come from Hinduism and other faiths.

The Meanings of the rituals are absolutely critical in this day and age.

The rituals state in no uncertain terms that we should have some respect for all living things.

Chogadiyas are fixed in time. The remain constant and therefore will not change. They are a guide in relation to auspicious times. If we can, we try our best to conduct ceremmonies within the times. If we cannot hit the times, remember they are a guide, that is all and it does not mean that things will go wrong. These are not just astological timings becuase they are fixed through time. God created day and night. God, in my belief, does not create bad days. All days are therefore good.
